The location of the hotel is ideal, being within walking distance to a nearby wedding venue and close to my place of work. The newly renovated bedrooms are beautifully decorated and offer a cozy, country-themed atmosphere. The staff, particularly Ebony, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, even arranging a continental breakfast when I wasn't aware of the breakfast menu. Additionally, the pub on-site provides delicious food and a comfortable atmosphere.
The service from some staff members, particularly Richard, was appalling, with a lack of attention to housekeeping needs and a dismissive attitude towards guests.

I recently had a great stay at a cozy inn in Eaton, Congleton. the Waggon And Horses offered beautifully renovated bedrooms with lovely decor. the pub on site was a highlight, with delicious food, excellent service, and a comfortable atmosphere. the room itself was wonderful, featuring a pretty design and a bed that was far more comfortable than what I experienced at the Hilton the previous night. It was also good value for money, and the breakfast served was absolutely delicious. the location was another plus, as it was just a 5-minute walk from the Sandhole Oak Barn wedding venue. Even with a baby in tow, the room was spacious enough for a cot without feeling cramped.
I highly recommend this lovely inn, and don't let any negative reviews deter you from experiencing its charm. Cons: For us, the Waggon And Horses in Eaton, Congleton was ideal.
